FAQs

Are there refunds?

There are no refunds for any reason at any time. If unforeseen craziness of any kind propagates, we’ll host the event as soon as possible and your ticket will be valid for that later date.

Ins and Outs

This is allowed with a valid wristband and/or handstamp. You may need to show proof of ticket and ID to re-enter.

My Palate is Wrecked

Farmhouse Fest is not just Saisons and Sours. We have plenty of great BC Cider, some Natural Wine, and Kombucha! There will be refresher IPAs, Lagers, Pilsners, and other ‘off style’ things to change it up along with non-alcoholic options. You can bring in any NA drink you wish.

Food?

There will be on site food and snack vendors. Food is not included with your ticket, but you are more than welcome to bring in outside food, snacks and non alcoholic drinks. The UBC Farmer’s Market is right beside us until 2pm with various vendors.

How do we stay hydrated?

FREE Drinking water will be on site at every booth, as well as a filtered filling station(s) using the local municipal water source. Bringing your own water bottle or jug is highly recommended. Non alcoholic options will also be available from various booths and food vendors.

How about a cooler or backpack?

You can bring in a small backpack, messenger bag or purse, but please don’t haul in a giant Yeti. Security reserves the right to turn back any large containers or bags of any type. Bags may be searched upon entry.

Are lawnchairs or blankets allowed?

They sure are! We have limited space and therefore may need to limit things as they happen. Bring along a small folding chair or picnic blanket to sit in the designated seating area in the apple orchard. Outside tables or tents are not allowed.

Kids and pets

Sorry, we’re licensed for 19+ only. No minors, kids, babies, or pets allowed. Licensed service animals are permitted.

Can I buy that?

Zero Waste

Is there Parking?

We highly discourage anyone driving to the event. There is no parking. Public transit or ride share is your best option.Leave services like EVO in designated spots only or you may receive a large towing fee. You can leave your bike overnight at your own risk, however the field is locked up.

Accessibility

UBC Farm is fully accessible, however the main driveway and field can be bumpy for anyone in a wheelchair or on crutches, so please be very careful and ask for assistance if needed. An accessible washroom will be provided as well as a reserved covered table area if requested.
