What’s Saison?

It’s the best

What Poured this year?!

The full list of beer and cider is HERE

My Palate is Wrecked

Farmhouse Fest is not just Saison and Sour. We always have lots of Cider too! There will be refresher IPAs, Lagers, Pilsners, and other ‘off style’ things to change it up. You can bring in any Non-Alc drink or food you wish.

How much are tickets?

The fest is over!

Media or Trade Freebies?

Sorry, Farmhouse Fest is different. We’re pretty chill keeping it word of mouth, half the event is industry folks so we’d lose our shirts. But you’re welcome to buy a ticket and come party! HOWEVER if you’re a liquor store and want to feature an entire section of Saison/Sours or buy a few pallets of specialty beer from our friendly breweries we’d be happy to chat :)

Are there refunds?

There are no refunds for any reason at any time. If unforeseen craziness of any kind propagates, we’ll host the event as soon as possible and your ticket will be valid for that later date.

Ins and Outs

Allowed with a valid wristband and/or handstamp. You may need to show proof of ticket and ID to re-enter.

How do we stay hydrated?

FREE Drinking water will be on site at every booth, as well as at filtered filling station(s) using the local municipal water source. Bringing your own water bottle or jug is highly recommended. Non alcoholic options may also be available from various booths and food vendors.

Food?

There are on site food & snack vendors, but food is not included with your ticket. You are more than welcome to bring in outside food, snacks and non alcoholic drinks. The Saturday UBC Farmer’s Market is right beside us until 2pm with many vendors and food trucks as well. Load up before they close!

How about a cooler or backpack?

You can bring in a small backpack, messenger bag or purse, but please don’t haul in a giant Yeti. Security reserves the right to turn back any large containers or bags of any type. Bags may be searched upon entry.

Are lawnchairs or blankets allowed?

They sure are! Bring along a small folding chair or picnic blanket to sit in the designated seating area in the apple orchard. Outside tables or tents are not allowed.

Kids and pets

We’re SEP licensed and UBC Campus Policy for 19+ only. No minors, kids, babies, or pets allowed. Licensed service animals are permitted.

Can I buy that?

There is no on-site liquor store.

Zero Waste

Farmhouse Fest runs as close to zero waste as possible. There are limited garbage cans on site. All food vendors will be supplying compostable containers and there will be compost and recycling bins available. Pack out what you pack in!

Is there Parking?

We highly discourage anyone driving to the event. No onsite parking. Public transit or ride share is your best option. Leave services like EVO in designated spots only or you may receive a large towing fee. There are large bike racks so you can leave your bike overnight at your own risk, however the field is locked up and generally very safe. If you leave a bike you might need to get it Monday as the Farm is not always open on Sunday.

Accessibility

UBC Farm is fully accessible, however the main driveway and field can be bumpy for anyone in a wheelchair or on crutches, so please be very careful and ask for assistance if needed. An accessible washroom will be provided as well as a reserved covered table area if requested.

Staff and Volunteers

We’re all set thanks!

Social Conduct & Safety

Abuse and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated whether physical, verbal, or on social media. Any such actions towards staff or attendees will result in removal from the festival without refund. BC Serving It Right rules apply. Farmhouse Fest is 19+ only.
